Choi Gil Nam

Effects Supervisor at DNEG Vancouver

Choi Gil Nam has been working in the effects industry for over 20 years at major VFX studios including Weta Digital, Industrial Light & Magic, and Digital Domain. He currently works at DNEG Vancouver as an Effects Supervisor. 


His credits include Hollywood blockbuster films Aquaman, Shazam: Fury of the Gods, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Transformers: Age of Extinction, The Suicide Squad, Tomorrow War, Zack Snyder's Justice League, Black Widow, Pacific Rim, and many more.


Choi Gil Nam completed his Master’s Degree in Multimedia and 3D Animation at De Montfort University in the UK. He has taught at academies and universities as a Lead FX Trainer.
